TBIL Current Status Update

As of 4/30/2020

Today our customer announced they were delaying the startup of production by one week. At this time we plan on resuming operations on Monday, May 11th.

We will use this additional time to continue to prepare and implement improvements in the plant. Our goal is to provide the safest work environment possible when you return.

Your Group Leader will continue to communicate with you periodically.  We will be reaching out to you again next week.  In the meantime please continue to be safe and take care of your families.  We look forward to seeing everyone when we return on May 11th.

TBIL Current Status Update

TBIL is scheduled to return to work on Monday, May, 4th. We will be implementing staggered start times in order to better maintain social distancing especially in common areas of the plant. When you arrive you will have your temperature taken and be required to wear a face mask.  You may bring your own face mask or we will have a small supply available for you. During this downtime TBIL has made many changes and modifications to ensure your personal safety.  We ask that you follow these new procedures and protocols in order to provide the safest work environment possible.

At this time your Group Leader should have reached out to you to communicate about specifics and help answer any questions you may have.  In addition, you should have received a letter highlighting what to expect when you return to work.  If you haven’t done so please respond back to TBIL with the survey that was included.

Please remember to continue practicing Social Distancing, washing hands often, and covering your coughs and sneezes.

TBIL Current Status Update

As of Friday, 3/27/2020

Operations at the Toyota Boshoku Illinois Plant, or TBIL, continue to be shutdown. TMMI, our customer, has announced they will be extending their shutdown period through Friday, April 17th. This means that TBIL will also be shutdown through Friday, April 17th. If any limited support is needed those specific Team Members will be contacted. No Team Members are to be in the Plant during this extended time period. Check back daily on this info line for updates.

The extended shutdown will not effect this week’s or next week’s payroll plans. TBA is determining the payroll options for the weeks beginning April 6th and April 13th, and have to take into account the recently changed governmental rules for both the United States & Canadian employers. Once decisions have been made, we will be reaching out to you and communicating individually by phone.
